Mission

____

MissedHistory exists to provide free, entertaining history content, presenting the entirety of human history as something we can all connect with — regardless of one’s level of removedness.

School history curriculums are often limited in scope, or taught through rose-tinted glasses. Ignoring world history, or strictly teaching it from a national perspective, leads to feelings of separation between nations, religions, ethnicities, and more.

Human history is nuanced, with inspiring highs and dark lows; however, it is something we all share, and can be proud of, because of how much we have accomplished. MissedHistory’s human-first approach to historical education is building a global community that believes in this idea and strives to understand the extraordinary people, places and events that got us here, today.

“I think a hero is any person really intent on making this a better place for all people”
